Wayne Selby is the owner, operator and face of Coastal Car Air, with a long family background in the automotive industry. He completed his qualifications as an auto electrician in 1989 in Sydney where he went on to work and manage large workshops in the Sutherland Shire and Southern Highlands.
In 2002 Wayne relocated to the Gold Coast and established Coastal Car Air Conditioning, developing it into the Gold Coast’s premier mobile car air conditioning and auto electrical services. As the business grew, Coastal Car Air added a fully equipped workshop in 2009 allowing greater flexibility for customers to leave their vehicles and a courtesy ride to home, work or the shops (prior arrangement required).
Wayne also has extensive car racing experience, having previously won NSW Club Championships. This has developed into building both tarmac and rally cars to the highest standard, as well as custom auto electrical work on vintage cars and hot rods.
